Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn<\/strong>, Director of the Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology (BART LAB)<\/strong> and former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University (2015\u20132023), was invited as a panelist and guest speaker<\/strong> at the TAIST Science Tokyo Conference 2025<\/strong>, organized by the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)<\/strong> in collaboration with the Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Tech and TMDU)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference, held at the Pullman King Power Hotel, featured the theme:
\u201cThe Role of TAIST and Universities in Developing Human Resources in Advanced Engineering and Technology.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jackrit joined the distinguished panel alongside:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Assoc. Prof. Witiya Wannasuphoprasit<\/strong>, Dean of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University
    Moderated by Dr. Tunyawat Somjaitaweephorn<\/strong>, Director of the Center for Robotics and Automation Innovation, Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    During the session, Dr. Jackrit shared perspectives on how multidisciplinary education and collaborative programs can empower the next generation of engineers through the integration of biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and robotics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Earlier in the event, Dr. Jackrit also gave an interview to NSTDA Media<\/strong> about the newly launched Biomedical and AI program under TAIST\u2013Science Tokyo<\/strong>, jointly developed by Mahidol University<\/strong>, Kasetsart University<\/strong>, SIIT Thammasat University<\/strong>, and Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cThe Biomedical and AI program integrates medical science, artificial intelligence, and robotics to address future healthcare and technology needs. Mahidol University has led biomedical engineering education in Southeast Asia since 1998 and continues to build research and academic networks that bridge medicine and advanced technology.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    The three-day TAIST Science Tokyo Conference (1\u20133 September 2025) showcased international collaboration, cutting-edge research, and educational innovation to inspire young scientists and engineers in Thailand and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
