In 2005, he and his colleagues from various department have established BART LAB as the first multi-disciplinary research lab in Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. BART LAB is then lifted to become the Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology at the same level as a department. Dr. Jackrit is a co-founder of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Mahidol University in 2006, and becomes the first Department Chair for eight years. The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Mahidol University is the first, and the only BME department in Thailand up to now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the Mahidol BME program has become one of the most competitive engineering programs among the top engineering in Thailand. \u00a0Dr. Jackrit is also held the position of \u201cPresident\u201d of Thai Robotics Society from 2007-2009. He is also the member of Board of Directors at TOT and PEA in 2013-2014.
