{"id":9523,"date":"2024-12-21T00:08:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-21T00:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bartlab.org\/newweb\/?p=9523"},"modified":"2025-08-07T00:12:18","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T00:12:18","slug":"bart-labs-pete-panuwat-oiamwong-successfully-defends-masters-thesis-proposal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bartlab.org\/newweb\/bart-labs-pete-panuwat-oiamwong-successfully-defends-masters-thesis-proposal\/","title":{"rendered":"BART LAB\u2019s Pete-Panuwat Oiamwong Successfully Defends Master\u2019s Thesis Proposal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>December 20, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 Congratulations to <strong>Pete-Panuwat Oiamwong<\/strong>, a Master\u2019s student in <strong>Biomedical Engineering at Mahidol University<\/strong> and a member of <strong>BART LAB<\/strong>, who successfully passed his <strong>thesis proposal defense<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research topic,<br><strong>\u201cA Study of Resistive Force and Torque Feedback from Muscles and Tissue in Spine Surgical Robot for Improved Precision and Control,\u201d<\/strong><br>aims to enhance the precision of <strong>spine surgical robots<\/strong> by analyzing force and torque feedback during interaction with muscles and tissues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal was evaluated by a distinguished committee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prof. Sorayouth Chumnanvej, MD<\/strong> (Co-Advisor, Ramathibodi Hospital)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Branesh Madhavan<\/strong> (Official External Committee, AIT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn<\/strong> (Advisor, BART LAB)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Also attending the session were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dr. Nui Nan Nantida Nillahoot<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Shen Treratanakulchai<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Yuttana Itsarachaiyot<\/strong><br>along with several <strong>BART LAB members<\/strong>, who joined in support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is a key contribution to the advancement of <strong>surgical robotics research<\/strong>, particularly in <strong>real-time control systems
