Prachinburi, Thailand \u2013 May 27, 2025<\/strong>
Representatives from BART LAB, Mahidol University<\/strong>, met with the Director of Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital<\/strong> and the hospital\u2019s medical and nursing teams to discuss potential collaboration on implementing the Monofilament Robotic Device<\/strong> for diabetic peripheral neuropathy screening. This device, developed by BART LAB, aligns with the hospital\u2019s clinical service needs for diabetic patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading the initiative was Dr. Nantida \u201cNui\u201d Nillahoot<\/strong>, BART LAB Innovation Director, together with Dr. Yuttana Itsarachaiyot<\/strong> and Ms. Choladawan Moonjaita<\/strong>. The meeting also involved the head nurse overseeing diabetic patient screening, Ms. Watcharee (\u201cLek\u201d), and the hospital\u2019s IT and AI teams, who expressed strong support for the collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, the BART LAB team observed the hospital\u2019s automated patient screening system<\/strong>, consisting of 10 stations for vital signs monitoring and direct integration with the hospital\u2019s IT network, as well as an electric patient transport stretcher<\/strong> with operator-controlled navigation. The visit concluded with a tour of the Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Palace Museum<\/strong> and support for the hospital\u2019s well-known herbal product line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
