BART LAB Team Visits Tottori Vice Governor for Industry Collaboration

February 6, 2025 – A delegation from Thailand, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Director of BART LAB, had the honor of meeting with the Vice Governor of Tottori Prefecture, Japan, to discuss future industry and innovation collaboration.

The meeting was arranged through the kind coordination of Mr. Okamura, Advisor and President of the Tottori Industry Promotion Organization.

The Thai delegation included:

• Dr. Suradech A. and Dr. Sorayuth C., leading Thai physician-researchers known for advancing medical innovations toward commercialization
• Dr. Nui Nan Nantida, Innovation Director of BART LAB
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, serving as the delegation lead

The discussion focused on potential academic-industry collaboration between Tottori Prefecture and Thailand, especially in the areas of medical robotics, healthcare technology, and regional innovation ecosystems.

The BART LAB team extended sincere gratitude to Tottori Prefecture for the warm hospitality and strong support throughout the visit.
