MTS Insight Electromechanical 1kN Standard Length

The MTS of static testing system meets a variety of needs for research, product development, process development, and quality control.

This electromechanical system offer:

  • Simple design for ease of use
  • Mechanical stability for consistent results
  • Easy serviceability
  • broad range of load capacities, from grams to 1kN

One of the Smallest 6-axis Transducers in the World

The Nano43 is our thinnest transducer model available and allows linkages and cables to pass through its center hole.

Extremely-High Strength:

  • EDM wire-cut from high yield-strength stainless steel.
  • Maximum allowable single-axis overload values are 6.4 to 14.2 times rated capacities.

High Signal-to-Noise Ratio: Silicon strain gages provide a signal 75 times stronger than conventional foil gages. This signal is amplified, resulting in near-zero noise distortion.

Typical Applications:

  • Telerobotics
  • Robotic surgery
  • Robotic-hand research
  • Finger-force research

The Aurora Electromagnetic Measurement System

Using cutting-edge electromagnetic technology, the NDI Aurora® System has been designed for medical applications that require precise, real-time spatial measurements without having to worry about line-of-sight.

The Aurora paves the way for innovative applications never before imagined with other electromagnetic tracking systems. Features of the Aurora system include:

  • Electromagnetic tracking
  • Miniature sensor coils
  • Medical safety approvals
  • Track up to eight tools
  • Design flexibility
  • Optimized for metal environments

Polaris Family of Optical Tracking Systems

The Polaris® System is an optical measurement system that measures the 3D positions of either active or passive markers affixed to application-specific tools. Using this information, each Polaris System is able to determine the position and orientation of tools within a specific measurement volume.

Polaris: the core 3D measurement technology inside the world’s leading computer-assisted surgery and therapy systems.

Trusted by medical device manufacturers worldwide, more than 11,000 Polaris systems are used in a variety of surgical applications, delivering accurate, flexible, and reliable measurement solutions that are easily customized to specific applications. Polaris has a long history of serving the needs of leading-edge research institutions, innovators, and medical device manufacturers around the world.

Motoman HP3 Material Handling Robot

Compact, Powerful, and Economical

The Motoman HP3 is a small, high-speed robot that requires minimal installation space. The HP3 features a 701 mm (27.6″) reach and offers the widest work envelope in its class. Due to its compact design, it can be floor-, wall-, or ceiling-mounted. The HP3XF is an extra high-speed version, while the HP3L features an extended reach.

The HP3 offers superior performance in small part applications such as assembly, dispensing, packaging, material handling and machine tending. The HP3 yields extraordinary production results while requiring minimal capital investment.

The compact design and built-in collision avoidance features with multiple robot control allow up to four robots to be used together to maximize productivity while reducing overall floorspace requirements.

Advanced NX100 Controller

The NX100 high-performance controller features a Windows® CE programming pendant, fast processing, easy-to-use INFORM III programming language, and robust PC architecture.

The NX100 offers unmatched multiple robot control capability (up to four robots) to minimize cost of integration and eliminate risk of robot collisions.

The NX100 includes four security levels of password protection (user, editor, maintenance and supervisor) for up to 100 individual users. Password use restricts access to the production programs and the controller logs any changes.

The programming pendant features a color touch-screen display that can be configured as a custom HMI with buttons and status indicators.

Dual-channel safety features include enhanced E-Stop functionality, integrated speed monitoring, manual brake release, and compliance with both ANSI/RIA R15.06-1999 and Canadian safety standards.

The NX100 offers unmatched connectivity through standard Ethernet and other network options: DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profibus-DP and EtherNet/IP.
