BART LAB Spine Surgical Robot Team Wins Gold at Mahidol Engineering Maker Expo 2025 – Two Years in a Row

The BART LAB Spine Surgical Robot student team—Mono, Oat, and Mind—clinched the Gold Award at the Mahidol Engineering Maker Expo 2025, held at Mahidol Sitthakarn Hall. Their project stood out among over 100 senior capstone designs from across Mahidol Engineering, marking BART LAB’s second consecutive Gold Award following last year’s victory.

The 2025 system integrates:

• 🧠 New Pre-Operative Surgical Planning
• 🎯 Real-Time Robot–Patient–Surgical Tool Tracking synchronized with surgical plans
• 🖐️ Redesigned Surgeon–Robot Interface Holder for improved ergonomics
