BART LAB Achieves 4th Q1 Journal Publication of 2024

November 16, 2024 – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn and his co-authors have published their fourth Q1 journal article of the year in Heliyon. The paper, titled:

“M-Fiducial Phantom Based Fast Automatic Ultrasound Calibration Technique: A Novel Approach for 2D to 3D Image Registration,”
was authored by Jackrit Suthakorn, Maria Chatrasingh, Cholatip Wiratkapun, and Songpol Ongwattanakul.

This work presents a novel approach to enhance ultrasound image registration by introducing a fast and automatic calibration technique based on an M-fiducial phantom, contributing to the advancement of 2D-to-3D medical imaging systems.
