BART LAB Alumni Dr. Nui Nan Nantida Receives Prestigious Toray Science Foundation Research Grant
March 7, 2025 – Dr. Nui Nan Nantida Nillahoot, alumna of BART LAB and former Ph.D. student under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, was honored at a prestigious awards ceremony hosted by the Thailand Toray Science Foundation for her outstanding scientific research project.
She was selected as one of the top 20 recipients out of more than 250 applications nationwide, recognizing her impactful contributions to science and technology research.
The ceremony was presided over by General Surayud Chulanont, President of the Privy Council and former Prime Minister of Thailand, who personally presented the award certificate.
Distinguished guests included:
- H.E. the Ambassador of Japan to Thailand
- Prof. Dr. Yongyut Yuthavong, former Minister of Science and Technology
- Prof. Dr. Pairash Thajchayapong, former Secretary-General of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Founding Director of NSTDA
Dr. Nantida’s achievement echoes the legacy of excellence within BART LAB, where many years earlier, Assoc. Prof. Jackrit himself was also a recipient of the same prestigious research grant.
This recognition is a significant milestone, reinforcing the lab’s dedication to nurturing scientific talent and producing research with national and international impact.
