BART LAB Explores Clinical Collaboration with Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital

Prachinburi, Thailand – May 27, 2025
Representatives from BART LAB, Mahidol University, met with the Director of Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital and the hospital’s medical and nursing teams to discuss potential collaboration on implementing the Monofilament Robotic Device for diabetic peripheral neuropathy screening. This device, developed by BART LAB, aligns with the hospital’s clinical service needs for diabetic patient care.

Leading the initiative was Dr. Nantida “Nui” Nillahoot, BART LAB Innovation Director, together with Dr. Yuttana Itsarachaiyot and Ms. Choladawan Moonjaita. The meeting also involved the head nurse overseeing diabetic patient screening, Ms. Watcharee (“Lek”), and the hospital’s IT and AI teams, who expressed strong support for the collaboration.

During the visit, the BART LAB team observed the hospital’s automated patient screening system, consisting of 10 stations for vital signs monitoring and direct integration with the hospital’s IT network, as well as an electric patient transport stretcher with operator-controlled navigation. The visit concluded with a tour of the Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Palace Museum and support for the hospital’s well-known herbal product line.
