BART LAB joins the First World Robot Summit 2018.
October 17-21, 2018: BART LAB Rescue Robotics Team with nine members has visited Tokyo, Japan for the rescue robot league, Standard Disaster Robotics Challenge. The team joins the competition, and could selected for World Robot Summit 2020.
The World Robot Summit (WRS) consists of two parts: World Robot Challenge (WRC), a robot competition in which teams from all over the world compete in 4 categories where use of robots is highly expected; and the World Robot Expo (WRE), an exhibition that features advanced robots and robotic technologies and provides a glimpse of robots working in the present and in the future.
The moto is to hosting many participants and visitors at WRS2018 who will come together to see, experience, and learn about robotics and discuss how people and robots will live together in the future. The WRS2020 which will be held in 2020 in Aichi and Fukushima Prefectures.
