BART LAB Speaks at Embassy of India Event on Bridging Innovation

October 19, 2024 – Assoc. Prof. Jackrit Suthakorn was honored as the first plenary speaker at the “Confluence of Indian Researchers in Thailand – Bridging Innovation from Academia to Industry” event, organized by the Embassy of India, Bangkok, and the IIT Alumni Association.

Welcomed by the Ambassador of India to Thailand, Assoc. Prof. Jackrit delivered a keynote talk on “The Future of Medical Robotics: Innovations from Lab to Market – The Power of Standardization, TRL/MRL, and Emerging Talents.” His presentation emphasized the importance of technology readiness levels (TRL), manufacturing readiness levels (MRL), and standardization in accelerating medical robotics from research to real-world applications.

The event brought together academic and industry leaders, fostering collaborations between India and Thailand in technology and innovation.
