On behalf of Mahidol University, BART LAB Organizes the Thailand Robot Championship 2012 (TRC 2012)

On 12-14 December 2012, Mahidol University, Vocational Education Commission and Thai Robotics Society organize the Thailand Robot Championship 2012 with the support from SCG held at the Government Complex Building in Chaengwattana, Bangkok. The Thailand Robot Championship 2012 is the first time in Thailand to combine the famous Thailand Rescue Robot Championship (TRR) and the new Thailand Robot@Home Championship (T@Home) to be in the same event. More than 60 teams to join the TRR in the first round, organized in October, which only 9 Thai Teams and 2 Invited International teams from Japan are advancing to the final round in this December event. 9 Thai Teams and an Invited International team from Netherlands are joining the final round in this event too. The international delegates from World RoboCup Federation are including Prof. Changui Zhou, RoboCup Trustee, Prof. Tijn van de Zant, RoboCup Trustee and Co-Founder of RoboCup@Home, Prof. Luca Ioochi, RoboCup@Home Exec Committee, Prof. Tetsuya Kimura, RoboCup Rescue Robot Exec Committee, Dr. Raymond Sheh, Former RoboCup Rescue Robot Exec Committee, Mr. Stefan Kohlbrecher, Leading member of Hector Darmstadt Team, Germany and Prof. Jackrit Suthakorn, Chair of The TRC 2012, BART LAB Exec Director and RoboCup Rescue Robot Exec Committee. The main organizers for technique are a part of BART LAB members and the students from Department of Biomedical Engineering, Mahidol University while the judging committees are from RoboCup delegates and invited professors from several institutes, such as, Chulalongkorn University, KMUTNB, KMUTT, MTEC, Mahidol University, Thammasat University and Vocational Education Commission.
