Prof. Jackrit Suthakorn pay visit to Medical Robotics Center, Johns Hopkins

Sep 26, 2022: Visiting The Johns Hoskins University at the Medical Robotics Center, LCSR/CISST ERC.

Proudly presented a special seminar talk at Hopkins on Mahidol Medical Robotics Research, and discussed the possible research collaboration and re-start the staff/student exchanging program under the Reinventing University Project on Mahidol Medical Robotics Platform.

Good chance to meet up with several top persons in Medical Robotics field:

1. Prof. Russell Taylor, Director of the LCSR/CISST ERC who was first person in the world to implement the first surgical robot in a real patient back in 1980s.
2. Prof. Louis Whitcomb, former Head of Hopkins Mech Eng Dept who taught me, Robot Actuators and Sensors Class
3. Prof. Iulian Iordachita
4. Prof. Peter Kazanzides
5. Prof. Axel Krieger
6. Prof. Jim Seob Kim, my Junior lab mate under the same advisor, Prof. Gregory Chirikjian.

Good to be back home at Hopkins again, this time travel with Dr. Nantida, Nui Nan, very helpful.
