Two BART LAB members have been accepted to join the Tokyo Institute of Technology toward their advanced degrees.
March-April, 2015: Miss Bantita Treepong and Mr. Theparit Peerasathien, two BART LAB members, have been accepted to join the programs toward their Ph.D. studies at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Miss Bantita receives her B.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering at the Mahidol University under the guidance of Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn for her research at BART LAB. Later on, she has joined the BART LAB as a research assistant for about a year working on 3D Illustrator and Product Designer. Mr. Theparit receives his M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He has joined BART LAB as a research assistant to develop 3D Virtual Reality Surgical Training System with Haptics features. He has also joined the BART LAB Rescue Robotics Team to attend the World RoboCup 2014 in Brazil which has won the Third Prize in RoboCup Rescue Robot League with the other members.
