Visit to Tsinghua University — China’s No. 1 University
Beijing, China – August 7–8, 2025
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn visited Tsinghua University, China’s top-ranked institution, renowned for its world-class academics and historic campus. The highlight was the iconic Tsinghua Dome and White Gate. Part of the university’s 200-acre grounds was once within the Summer Palace, retaining scenic gardens, a tranquil lake, waterfalls, and preserved palace structures — an inspiring environment for learning and reflection.
The visit included state-of-the-art laboratories and learning facilities in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, hosted by Prof. Liu Li, as well as the Tsinghua University Museum. The campus, rich in greenery and innovation, stands as a model for academic excellence.
