Ambassador of Sri Lanka Visits BART LAB to Explore Academic Collaboration

February 21, 2025 – H.E. Lady E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Thailand, visited BART LAB at Mahidol University to discuss potential academic and research collaborations between Sri Lanka’s top universities and Mahidol University.

The visit focused on establishing partnerships in key areas such as biomedical engineering, robotics, and environmental engineering, aligning with mutual interests in technological development and international academic exchange.

The BART LAB team, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, welcomed the ambassador and shared insights into the lab’s research strengths, innovations, and global partnerships. The meeting marked a meaningful step toward fostering stronger educational and technological ties between Thailand and Sri Lanka.
