BART LAB Represents Thailand at RCAP Qingdao Invitational Tournament 2025 Opening Ceremony

8 September 2025 – Qingdao International Exhibition Center, West Coast Area, China

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Founding Trustee of RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) and Director of BART LAB, Mahidol University, represented RCAP at the Opening Ceremony of the RCAP Qingdao Invitational Tournament 2025, delivering a welcome address alongside the Deputy Mayor of Qingdao.

The event took place at the Qingdao International Exhibition Center, featuring activities such as the Humanoid Robot League, CoSpace competitions, and robotics exhibitions. The large-scale event drew numerous participants, students, researchers, and visitors, showcasing China’s growing leadership in robotics and automation.

The BART LAB Team included:

  • Mr. Tanadul Somboonwong (Ikkew) – M.Eng. Student, Biomedical Engineering
  • Mr. Panuwat Oiamwong (Pete) – M.Eng. Student, Biomedical Engineering
  • Mr. Krittanat Tanthuvanit (Mono) – B.Eng. Graduate, Biomedical Engineering
  • Ms. Mili – Undergraduate Student, Biomedical Engineering
  • Ms. Kaew – Engineering Staff, BART LAB

During the ceremony, Mr. Panuwat Oiamwong was honored as the Participant Representative and delivered the opening pledge on behalf of all contestants. His remarks drew strong attention from local media, leading to several interviews and press features.

The event reflected RCAP’s vision to strengthen collaboration and innovation in robotics education and research across Asia-Pacific.
