Building Worldwide Connections: Mahidol University Welcomes Special Visitors from Case Western Reserve University
March 14, 2024: Mahidol University’s Engineering Faculty and BART LAB had some special guests recently. Dean Ragu and Vice President Ducoff from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in the United States paid a visit. This visit came about because of an invitation from Mahidol last year, aiming to strengthen ties between the two universities.
The visitors from CWRU got to see some of the groundbreaking research our students are working on and were really impressed. This visit opens up the possibility for both universities to work together on future projects, which is exciting news for everyone involved.
Dean Ragu and VP Ducoff took a keen interest in our students’ education and the research happening at the lab. They were particularly impressed with the quality of our students, a testament to BART LAB’s ability to attract and nurture exceptional talent.
The visit ended with a dinner at Three Sixty, a beautiful spot in the Millennium Hilton Bangkok. This dinner was a nice way to end their visit, giving everyone a chance to talk more and get to know each other better.
We want to thank Prof. Veera Chanpong for helping make this visit happen. Visits like these help Mahidol University make friends all over the world and find new ways to improve our research and learning.
