New Q1 Journal Published by BART LAB on Robotic Hair Transplant System

March 22, 2025 – BART LAB is pleased to announce the publication of a new Q1 journal article in the Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal (CSBJ). The paper, led by Dr. Rattapon Thuangtong, presents cutting-edge research on robotic applications in aesthetic surgery.

Title:
“Development and Evaluation of an Integrated Image-Guided Robotic System for Hair Transplant Surgery”

This work introduces a novel robotic platform that integrates image guidance and automation to improve precision and efficiency in hair transplant procedures. The system is designed to support clinical application in aesthetic and dermatologic surgery with improved accuracy and patient outcomes.

The study is a collaboration between Mahidol University’s Faculty of Engineering, BART LAB, and medical experts from Siriraj Hospital, further demonstrating the lab’s commitment to impactful translational research.
