Development of Navigation System for Dental Surgery

Funded by National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) – 4,132,000 THB (120,000 USD)
Collaboration with Advanced Technology Center (ADTEC)

This Project is to develop a surgical navigation system for dental applications, called NavDent. NavDent is an intra-operative assisting system which allows dentists to acquire precise real-time position, orientation and motion of their hand-tools through a GUI on monitor. NavDent is also working with pre-operative data from CT images and planned path.
